Georgian Alphabet & Pomegranate Tablecloth
Two distinctive elements come together in one design: Georgian script and the pomegranate. The letters flow through the composition while pomegranate motifs sit boldly above them in blue or red. More colourful than a simple alphabet pattern, the design combines typography and botanical form without letting either one disappear.
The Story Behind the Design
Letters and Fruit
The pomegranate is associated in Georgia with abundance and togetherness, making it a fitting motif for a table where people gather and share a meal.
Here, the fruit is set against the Georgian script. The letters flow through the composition while the pomegranate motifs sit clearly above them, creating two distinct visual layers.
The script provides structure and texture, while the fruit creates the points of focus. Together they form a detailed pattern that feels lively without becoming visually crowded.
